Find All Parking Options Online: Visitors can explore all parking options at https://www.annapolisparking.com, a mobile-friendly website featuring maps, rates, contact information, and additional details about the garages, surface lots, on-street parking, and free Circulator services available to the public.

Reserve Garage Parking Online: Visitors can reserve garage parking online in three city-owned garages: Noah Hillman, Knighton, and Gotts Court. Simply visit https://www.annapolisparking.com, navigate to the garage of your choice, and select “Buy Daily Parking.” Hillman Garage fills up fastest, so be sure to explore Knighton and Gotts for convenient parking.

Free Weeknight Parking: Calvert Street Garage (aka State Garage) at 19 St. Johns Street is free to the public weeknights from 6 PM to 6 AM the following day.

Free Weekend Parking: Calvert Street Garage is also free to the public from 6 PM Friday to 6 AM Monday. Additionally, Whitmore Garage at 25 Clay Street is free to the public on Sundays until 4 PM.

Free Circulator Serves all Garages: The free Circulator is a comfortable and convenient way to travel from garages to all points of interest downtown. Visitors can track the Circulator’s shuttle in real-time by downloading the “RLS Shuttle” app and clicking “Annapolis.” You may also track the Circulator in real-time at

Mayor Gavin Buckley welcomes members of the Maryland General Assembly, their staff and visitors back to Annapolis for the 2019 legislative session and offers a few parking tips for Marylanders planning to visit the city.

Avoid the Crowds: Visitors who wish to avoid the city’s busiest parking locations should consider the Park Place Garage located at One Park Place on West Street or the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium lot. Park Place is serviced daily by the free Circulator and the stadium lot includes an Express shuttle service during the legislative session from 7:45am to 8:45am & 3:30pm-5:15pm Monday-Friday. Stadium shuttle fare is $2.

Improved Circulator Route: The free Circulator includes new stops that will benefit session visitors. The new School Street-Church Circle stop gives visitors near the State House complex faster and more convenient service back to the three garages on West Street (Gott’s Court, Knighton, and Park Place.) The new State Garage stop at 19 St. Johns Street is designed to encourage visitors to take advantage of State Garage’s free public parking Monday-Friday 6 pm to 6 am and all weekend. The North Street-State Circle stop allows visitors easy access to the State House and other state government buildings. Annapolis announces 2018 holiday parking benefits & three new stops on the City’s Circulator

The City of Annapolis will once again offer popular holiday parking options and discounts this year beginning Friday, November 23, and running through January 1, 2019. In addition, the City announces three new stops along the route for the FREE Annapolis Circulator to better serve residents and visitors downtown.

Effective immediately, the Annapolis Circulator is adding a stop at the intersection of North Street and State Circle, just a block away from the popular Boutique District on Maryland Avenue and State Circle. The Circulator also now serves the intersection of School Street and Church Circle adjacent to Government House as well as the State Garage, a 726-space garage at 19 St. Johns Street. Holiday parking benefits include:

Free, 3-Hour Parking at Meters: The city will offer three hours of free parking at metered spaces downtown effective November 23 through January 1, 2019. This parking will be available at all bagged parking spots on Main Street, Francis Street, West Street, Maryland Avenue, Prince George Street, City Dock, Calvert Street and Market Space. This benefit is for three hours only, and violators will be ticketed.

Expanded Circulator Service: The city will provide extended Circulator service for Midnight Madness on December 6, December 13 and December 20. On these days, two free Circulators will run from 4 p.m. to midnight from Park Place to West Street, State Garage at 19 St. Johns Street, State Circle (serving Maryland Avenue), to Church Circle, then Duke of Gloucester Street, to City Dock, up Main Street and back to West Street and Park Place. Track the Circulator’s location in real-time by downloading the “RLS Shuttle” app to your smartphone and clicking “Annapolis.”

Online Prepay Discounts: For Midnight Madness and Small Business Saturday (November 24), guests who prepay for parking at www.AnnapolisParking.com can purchase all day parking for just $5 in the Gotts Court Garage and the Knighton Garage.

Free Parking at State Garage for Midnight Madness: State Garage at 19 St. Johns Street is free every weeknight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., so visitors for Midnight Madness should take advantage of this convenient parking option December 6, December 13, and December 20. Small Business Saturday (November 24) and Grand Illumination (November 25): The State Garage at 19 St. Johns Street is now a regular stop for the Circulator. Annapolis Circulator Adds Three New Stops

The North Street-State Circle stop will bring Circulator riders within footsteps of the many shops and restaurants along State Circle and Maryland Avenue.

The School Street-Church Circle stop gives visitors near the State House complex faster and more convenient service back to the three garages on West Street: Gott’s Court, Knighton, and Park Place.

The State Garage stop is designed to encourage visitors to take advantage of State Garage’s free public parking Monday-Friday 6 pm to 6 am and all weekend.

The Circulator’s complete route now consists of:

  • Park Place – 5 Park Place
  • Knighton Parking Garage – 1A Colonial Avenue
  • Intersection of West Street & Calvert Street
  • Gotts Court Parking Garage – 25 Northwest Street
  • State Garage – 19 St. Johns Street
  • North Street & State Circle

2018 – 2019 Residential Parking Permit Registration Now Open

The City of Annapolis and Annapolis Parking announced that the Fiscal Year 2019 Residential Parking Permit registration period begins effective immediately. City residents who live in a zoned district may purchase a new permit online or in-person at Annapolis Parking’s new office at 60 West Street, Suite 106. The office is available for service in-person between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The new permits will be effective from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.

Annapolis Parking encourages residents to save time by purchasing their annual permits via a secure online portal at www.annapolisparking.com.

“To avoid standing in line, residents are encouraged to go online to purchase their residential parking permit,” said Jon Kemp, Regional Manager at Annapolis Parking.

Residents will be mailed new RPP stickers soon after purchase. Permits must be purchased by July 1, 2018. There are no changes to permit prices and all major credit cards are accepted. Calvert Street Garage is the Best Kept Secret in Town: Beginning at 6PM on weekdays – and all weekend – parking is free at the State Garage/Calvert Street Garage (find it here). The Calvert Street Garage is less than half a mile from the Naval Academy.

Notice of City Council Hearing on Parking-Related Legislation

The City of Annapolis invites residents to a public City Council hearing Monday, February 12, 2018 at 7.00 p.m. on legislation relating to abandoned vehicles.

The hearing will be in the Mayor John T. Chambers, Jr., City Council Chambers, located at 160 Duke of Gloucester Street in Annapolis. Members of the public are invited to review the legislation listed below, attend the hearing, and speak at the hearing if they choose.

LEGISLATION:
O-3-18 Abandoned Vehicles – For the purpose of permitting an authorized agent of the City of Annapolis to exercise limited enforcement authority in the impoundment of abandoned vehicles; establishing a fine for leaving wrecked or non operating vehicles on public property; and matters generally relating to the abandonment of vehicles.

Ride the Free Circulator: This also marks the first legislative session since the city eliminated the $1 fare on the Circulator. Parking Options for 2017 Military Bowl

Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley and the City of Annapolis are pleased to welcome the 10th anniversary Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Thursday, December 28. The event will feature a match-up between the United States Naval Academy (Navy) and University of Virginia (UVA) with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m.  The game will be televised on ESPN.

The Military Bowl is a premier regional event benefiting the USO, Patriot Point and other organizations supporting members of the Armed Forces and their families.

Stadium parking lots open at 7 a.m. and game day festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with the Official Military Bowl Tailgate Party in the Blue parking lot on the west side of the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

The Military Bowl Parade, led by the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, starts at 9:30 a.m. at City Dock in downtown Annapolis. The parade route travels up Main Street, around Church Circle to College Avenue, then turns left on Bladen Street and continues along Rowe Boulevard before taking a left on Taylor Avenue and concluding at the stadium.

The parade is expected to take about 1 ½ hours for all 60-plus units to move from City Dock to the stadium. Roads along the route will be closed beginning at 9:15 a.m. and will open on a rolling basis as the parade progresses.

Please be aware that no parking will be allowed at City Dock, on Dock Street or along Main Street on Thursday, December 28 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Also, please be aware that both residential and business refuse and recycling collection will be affected on Thursday.  Residential collection will begin at 5:30 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. with crews concentrating first on the downtown trash and recycling cans, as well as the residential areas around Navy and Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.  This will assist the completion of the collections in areas affected by the parade and the football game.  Private trash haulers will begin business refuse and recycling collections downtown at 5 a.m.  All businesses are requested to pull their trash and recycling bins from the sidewalk no later than 9 a.m. on Thursday.

  • General parking at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is available at militarybowl.org/parking, but is expected to sell out in advance of the game
  • Noah Hillman Parking Garage, 150 Gorman Street, is open 24/7
  • Gotts Court Parking Garage, 25 Northwest Street, is open 24/7
  • Knighton Parking Garage, 1A Colonial Avenue, is open 24/
  • Park Place, 5 Park Place, is open 24/7
  • Germantown Elementary, 200 Windell Avenue

Online Prepay for Garages:

Visitors can now reserve parking online at city garages – Noah Hillman, Gotts Court, and Knighton.  Simply visit annapolisparking.com, navigate to the garage of your choice, and select “Buy Daily Parking.”

The Circulator will run its normal route, looping through downtown Annapolis between Park Place Garage to the west and City Dock to the east. The Circulator will not run during the parade.

There will be an added stop to connect those parked downtown to the game.  From 12 p.m.(Noon) until two (2) hours after the game concludes, the Circulator will pick up and drop off at the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) building, across the street from the stadium at the corner of Herbert Sachs Drive and Taylor Avenue.

Both Circulator routes are FREE.
